Newly established, grassroots and with no external funding, our profits are reinvested into building the organization so we can achieve our vision of a balanced, inclusive and accessible psychedelic ecosystem for today and for generations to come.
Los Angeles Medicinal Psychedelics Society
The Los Angeles Medicinal Psychedelics Society (LAMPS) is a community of visionaries, researchers, psychonauts, curious explorers, passionate healers, and other medical professionals looking to expand the horizons of their practice. In 2018, at UCLA, we hosted the first university-based presentation of psychedelic information in Los Angeles since the 1960s. This was a groundbreaking three-day psychedelic symposium featuring revered elders and leaders in the psychedelic world. In our continuous presentation of live panel discussions and conferences, LAMPS strives to inform and empower both the medical and general community about the wide potential of the many psychedelic medicines now available as well as the need for best practices and careful post-use integration. We seek to present the knowledge and insights of leading experts and thought leaders in the field to help protect, nurture, and make sense of the continuously-evolving psychedelic renaissance. We are also creating documentaries exploring topics such as psychedelics and death, psychedelics and addiction recovery, as well as psychedelic churches. LAMPS is also preparing for focused psychedelic research and an array of training programs.
